Purchase Engineer (Foreign Procurement & Contracts)

Responsible for working closely with the selected suppliers and managing the company’s procurement activities. Enhancing company profits by acquiring suitable goods at a competitive price through sensible planning and careful purchasing.
• The procurement of technical goods and services for industrial operation from foreign markets, such as China, India & Europe.

Managed preventive and predictive maintenance programs and directed root cause failure analysis to correct repetitive failure mechanisms of equipment. Led the maintenance team in maintenance best practices and managed reliability programs.

• Optimized Preventive Maintenance Program by analyzing equipment work order history.
• Performed testing procedures utilizing Reliability Analysis tools for mechanical department of the company to improve processes in a wide variety of areas.

• Responsible for budget maintenance forecast and deadlines.

• Worked with multi-national and multi-skilled service provider crews for maintenance of gearboxes & rotating equipment.

• Performed maintenance of heavy machine parts such as rotating mills, slide shoe bearing, blowers, impellers, hydraulic systems & pumps.
