Professional Experience (1 Year) Bestway Cement Limited, Chakwal
- Worked as a Trainee Shift Engineer in Production department at Bestway Cement, Chakwal.
Bestway Cement Limited, Chakwal.
- Two kilns both having capacity of 5800 T/day with inline precalciner system. Two Loeshe grinding mills (vertical) for raw material grinding each with capacity of 12000 T/day. Four Ball mills for cement grinding with roller press system each having capacity of 3840 T/day.
Job Responsibilities
- Work as Trainee Shift Engineer and manage overall plant operations.
- Supervise daily plant operations and maintenance activities and ensure operational targets are achieved safely and cost effectively.
- Take remedial actions during plant operation to avoid undue stoppages and operational disturbances.
- Handle trouble shootings and emergencies and lead the subordinates during shift.
- Managing and Optimizing all unit operations and unit process in plant.
- Coordinate and monitor all shutdown activities at plant.
- Check the quality parameters and collaborate with quality control staff for achievement of quality targets.
- Manage all administrative problems during shift.
- In case Power crises of WAPDA, manage load of operational units.
- Ensure first level inspection and communicate to concerned department for corrective actions for their remedies.
- To prepare daily production summary, water consumption report and power consumption report electronically.
- Ensure that all safety and quality measures are followed during production process, in all stages.
- Attended two months process training from international x-Lafarge Trainers.
- Successfully completed several projects i.e
- Replacement of Alumina grinding media project for cement grinding mills instead of high chrome grinding media in order to save electricity and to avoid some safety hazards of high chrome media.
- Rotary Kiln inlet modification and redesigning.
- ABC (Air blast cooler) clinker cooler project.
- Part of Process Team to analyze PM, SOx ,Nox ,and analyze false air of the plant.
Also attended different workshops and trainings related to safety of equipments Hazards & Risk Assessment, Electrical Safety,Conveyor belt safety,Work at hight, confined space etc.
